DESCRIPTION:This year SAROA have decided to change the format for our lunch. It  will be held this year on a raceday Saturday August 5th at Morphettville in the Lower Moet Chandon Pavilion commencing at 11:30 am. DESCRIPTION:SAROA and Santa didn’t get together last year because of COVID-19\, hopefully this year will be different. \nWe are conscious that SAROA has been unable to run functions for some time. \nWe would like to welcome our members for an afternoon tea – starting around 2 pm on Saturday April 24th in the Terrace Bar at Morphettville. Food service will commence at 3:00pm \nWe will supply platters of savoury and sweet nibbles and a complementary drink for our members. DESCRIPTION:  \n \nSAROA has for some time wanted to organise a visit to the Apprentice Academy to inspect the facilities there and to understand more about the training that our apprentice jockeys receive. COVID-19 has intervened on several occasions and renovations to the premises have held up arrangements but finally we can invite our members to inspect the Academy on September 29th at 4:00pm. \nThe Academy is located adjacent to the Magic Millions Complex 1 Park Terrace\, Morphettville SA 5043 \nWe have also made a booking at the Highway for those who wish to join us for dinner afterwards.
