The Highway’s Breakthrough Day on the Deck

The Highways next event, “Friday Lunch on the Deck” supports the Breakthrough Foundation. Chris McDermott, Mark Soderstrom and the Executive Director of Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation John Mannion will all be present on the day. Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation is Australia’s only dedicated mental health research foundation. They support ground-breaking research that will help to transform the lives of those affected by mental health issues. Mental illness is going to be the biggest health challenge in our lifetime. One in five Australians has a diagnosed mental health condition, and more people between 15-44 years are dying from suicide than any other cause. This is not acceptable. The mission is to create a life free from mental illness.
