Travis Doudle is SAROA Owner of the Month for May courtesy of Not Usual Glorious and Jauguary We spoke to Travis to get some background on the two horses. Not Usual Glorious has an unusual name and a somewhat unusual start to his career. Bred in Victoria he was bought to race in New Zealand where he was able to win at Avon and Matamata. Travis was able to pick him up to race in SA with the winter wet tracks in mind. That seems to have been a great move as the Fiorente gelding has won three in a row in Adelaide and has already picked up $75,000 for his new owners. With the winter staying races coming up there are high hopes that he will continue to race well. As mentioned Not Usual Glorious is by Fiorente out of the Hold That Tiger mare Temper Tantrum. The dam was a stakes winner successful in the Strutt Stakes in Tasmania, in total she won 3 races and a touch less than $100,000, aside from Not Usual Glorious she has not as yet produced anything else of merit. The granddam is the Grand Lodge mare Disco Bickie who apart from her stakes winning daughter Temper Tantrum is the dam of three others without much success. Her dam Catherine Mary (by Famous Star) also produced a stakes winner of two Group 3 races in Shelbourne Lass (by Brocco) who in turn produced the Group 3 winner Elusive Touch (by Elusive Quality) as well as Rocknet (by Fastnet Rock) and Further (by More Than Ready) dam of recent listed winning Sepoy mare Anjana. Travis told us the story with Jaguary which is an equally interesting one, he burst on the scene for Travis after being purchased again from New Zealand. He was a lightly raced maiden when he arrived here but won at his first start in his new home and racked up three wins from his first four runs here. In fact, his first eight starts here yielded 4 wins and three seconds with including a second and a fourth across the border. As we all know racing can be a roller coaster ride and unfortunately Jag picked up a virus and struggled for to recapture his best form at his next two preps. Things have changed this time in though, with three starts for two strong wins, he has to date amassed $193,000 in stakes. Jaguary is by Niagara out of the Spartacus mare Guipure who has produced two others by Niagara and both have come to Australia in Tuakana who has had one start with Travis’s stable and Brother’s Shadow who is owned by Travis’s mother and has won two from three as a two-year-old. The grand dam is the Blue Razor mare Delph. Since winning the award in May the two horses have gone on to more success with at the time of writing two more wins for Not Usual Glorious and one for Jaguary and both are due to race again quite soon.

Canford on his way to a win Our Owner of the Month award winner for April is Esther Doel Henshall, part owner of Canford. Esther told us a little about Canford and his recent ups and downs: As a connection of Canford, I have been overjoyed with his return to form. Ryan Balfour, his vets and staff have done a remarkable job creating and formulating a fitness and treatment plan for Canford’s niggling issues. The transformation from a horse that may not have raced again after a devastating paddock injury to a horse in hot form has been a miracle.  Bart Cumming’s adage, “patience is the cheapest thing in racing”, has certainly paid dividends with Canford. Who knows what the future may hold with Canford, but I’m simply chuffed to have an honest horse and am just enjoying the ride. Canford after being injured had a break from racing for 46 weeks and returned with four starts without showing too much. He then spelled again to return 17 weeks later for a much more successful campaign notching 2 wins and 2 seconds and a third so far. Not bad, as Esther says, for a horse whose career was in grave doubt. As his name suggests the six-year-old gelding is by Canford Cliffs winner of five Group 1 races in the UK. During his time in Australia, he has sired four stakes winners, the best of which is Cliff’s Edge, whose 8 wins have netted more than a million dollars. Canford’s dam is Sorenstam (by Encosta Da Lago), she was a handy race mare winning 6 races and almost $300,000. Her other progeny include Canford’s full brother Wimborne who is still racing and has won 7 races and over $150,000. The grand dam is the listed winner of 9 races Delgara (by Delgado) who in turn has left one stakes winner, the VRC St Leger claimant Inkster (by Umatilla). Altogether Inkster won five for almost $300,000. The family has been associated with South East identity Ricky Bruhn for five generations and Delgara’s progeny include the handy mare Deltrice (by Keltrice) winner of 7 and dam herself of the twelve-time winning Bianconi gelding Conidel. It’s great to see Canford back on the track and kicking goals again.

Brenton with So Bene Owner of the Month for March is Brenton Scott for So Bene and New Roman. He talks to the guys on The Punter’s Club . Brenton told us about the horses and racing: Please thank those who put forward my name to win this award. As you aware owners on the whole contribute a great deal to the industry. While the high times are great, much of the time it’s a grind with little reward and many disappointments. As you may be aware I bred both of these horses. So Bene was foaled down at Mill Park and is out of Molto Bene, a mare which gave me some success and enjoyment during her racing career. Interestingly I won this award once before when she won the Group 3 SA Sires Produce Stakes. New Roman was bred and raised at Rosden Park in Wellington and is a great little horse. He had some serious complications from his gelding operation which is the reason for his abbreviated career. Andrew Clarken has done a great job bringing him back to form. So Bene is by Hinchinbrook out if Molto Bene (by Royal Academy) and has won once from four starts with the Stokes stable. Her dam Molto Bene won two Stakes races including, as Brenton notes, the Group 3 SA Sires Produce Stakes. In total she won 4 races and over $200,000. She has so far produced one other winner but as a young mare who has been served by well performed sires, the best is hopefully yet to come. The grand dam the well named Benevolent (by Generous) has an outstanding record in the breeding barn with 3 black type winners, the others being Classic Wei Wei  (by Shamus Award) winner of four so far including the listed Port Adelaide Guineas. The star of the three is the multiple Group winner Mourinho (by Oratorio) winner of 11 races and $1.2 million with the Group 1 Underwood Stakes the highlight as well as 3 Group 2’s, 2 Group 3’s and a Listed race. New Roman’s March win was the second for the gelding by Written Tycoon out of The Bay Rod (by Nadeem). His dam won just the one race from 9 starts and has left another winner in Rodney (by Bel Esprit), winner of three. The grand dam is Roddick (by Last Tycoon) has left several good ones including The Black Rod (by Black Hawk) winner of 2 and over $80,000; Cairngorm (by Desert Sun); Island Beach (by Reann) and Quiddick (by Equiano) all handy horses. Brenton also had wins recently with Divenire (by Squamosa) and Magna Bella (by Magnus). As Brenton notes there are many highs and lows in racing but Brenton is going through a nice patch at present and SAROA wish him well.

Our Owner of the Month award winner for February is Dennis Gardiner part owner of Knightstown.  Dennis told us about his involvement in racing My love of horses began years ago when I was a child and my father would take us to Victoria Park, Cheltenham and Morphettville. At these courses I saw the champion jockeys of yesterday year such as Billy Pyers, Pat Glennon and Jim Johnson. My two favourite jockeys of that era were Roy Higgins and George Moore.              I have always wanted to be involved in the racing industry, so I approached Mark Minervini and managed to get a share in a few horses, including Mica Lil, and Martinique.  I had some success with Mica Lil running 3rd in the Robert Sangster Stakes.  Through SAROA, I met Rob and Maureen McBryde and I purchased a share in Knightstown which is trained by Gordon Richards. Knightstown won a trial at Morphettville, then the following Saturday 13th February he won in grand style, well ridden by Ryan Hurdle. Interestingly Knightstown was bred by SAROA treasurer Rob McBryde and was passed in at the Magic Million Adelaide sales. Rob retained the horse to race and SAROA committee member Kevin Benger and wife Beverly also took a share. As he won in February, he was eligible for the double up of Racing Rewards and earned $66,000 for his connections in the one start. A great return for a single start in SA. Knightstown, a two-year-old, is by Valentia out of the staying mare Zaraya Rose. Valentia is a very attractive looking stallion by Fastnet Rock who stands at Cornerstone stud at Angaston. His eldest progeny are three and include Fayerra and Smokin Val. Zaraya Rose (by Hawk Wind) was a two-time winner and has also produced Saccharo (by Magnus) a winner of almost $200,000. The granddam Summer Magic (by Eagling) has also produced Surmato (by Belloto) and Brewski (by Bel Esprit). The third dam Lightning Flash (by Lightning) was imported from France, she produced amongst others Light Water (by Bellwater) dam of Flash Coupe and Resplendent (by Bluebird) producer of Flash of Doubt. Having only raced once and having won quite impressively, the future looks bright for Knightstown and his connections.

Showusyourmotor Our Owner of the Month award winner for January is Norm Gardner part owner of Vindex and Showusyourmotor.  We chatted to Norm about his involvement in racing Norm bought his first share in a racehorse when he was in his early 20’s. The horse was bought from SAROA member and at the time Alice Springs bookmaker Terry Lillis and the horse was trained by Gary Searle. Norm caught the racing bug then and has been involved in ownership ever since. He said his best were Finke (Turffontein – Blooming Marvellous) who won eight races as a three-year-old in the Territory culminating in a Third in the Darwin Cup. Getting Lucky (Danzig Connection – Crafty Luck) who won 12 races in the Territory and one at Caulfield As well as Letmeentertainyou (Catbird – News Academy) who won once in Darwin and five times in Adelaide. The two horses for which Norm is our January winner represent two different aspects of race ownership. Vindex (Fastnet Rock – Mithila) is a 7-year-old who was picked up as a tried horse by Norm’s partner – trainer Kristi Evans. At the time he got to Kristi he had raced 23 times for a lowly maiden win at Benalla. Since then while only winning twice, he has picked up a second, 7 thirds and 2 fourths and his total prizemoney sits at just over $92,000. Vindex is well bred with his dam Mithila being by Encosta Da Lago, she was unraced but has produced Hierarchal (by High Chaparral) winner of almost $190,000 and Madam Legend (by I Am Invincible) winner of over $185,000 to date. The granddam Twyla (by Danehill) produced the stakes winner Murjana (by Giants Causeway); as well as Celebria (by Peintre Celebre) dam of three stakes winners, most notably Gathering (by Tale Of The Cat) a Group 1 winner in Perth; and River Song (by Fusiachi Pegasus) dam of the stakes winner Niagara (by Encosta Da Lago) now a successful sire in New Zealand. The third dam is the Nijinsky mare Dancing Show who left 2 stakes winners – both hugely successful sires in Hurricane Sky (by Star Watch) and Umatilla (by Miswaki). Showusyourmotor (Zebedee – Glorious Night) was bred by Cornerstone Stud and looks to be an above average filly with one win from four starts. The dam Glorious Night is by Al Maher has only produced one to race so far. The grand dam is Azardi (by Desert Prince) sire of the Villiers Stakes winner All Legal (also by Al Maher) winner of 6 races and nearly $600,000 with nothing else of note. The third dam San Century (by Centaine) also left three stakes winners most notably Glorious Days by Hussonet a seven-time winner in Hong Kong including the Hong Kong Mile. SAROA wishes Norm and Kristi all the best for their future success.

Bleriot Our Owner of the Month award winner for December is Will Clarken, trainer and part owner of Stan The Caddy and Bleriot. The stable provided us with the following comments: Stan The Caddy He’s no world-beater (yet) but he has amassed a bit of a following due to his name, which for those who don’t know, comes from a character in the show Seinfeld.  We have had to be patient with this horse.  He was always backward; and coming from Rebel Raider stock, was always going to take a little time.  I had his full-brother El Desperado who won the Strathalbyn Cup at 4YO, so I knew Stan would take a while to furnish.  I don’t think he is quite there yet as he can still mix his form.  But on the days he puts things together, it really clicks.  This is where you can see him balance up and stretch out with a big long striding action.  Perhaps the Strathalbyn Cup at 5YO is his go? Bleriot This 2YO filly is the opposite end of the spectrum to Stan The Caddy; she has been ready to go from day one.  I purchased her as a yearling at the 2020 Gold Coast Magic Millions as part of the Aquis Farm draft.  Aquis retained a share in her and being by their first season stallion, Divine Prophet, came with a ‘Bonus of the Purchase Price Back’ if she was able to win a Saturday Metropolitan race before next year’s sale.  Watching her run second on two occasions to classy interstate raiders was tough, but she managed to salute on her third attempt and secure a huge windfall for all the owners.  She is not the most naturally talented 2YO in the stable but these placings behind some very sharp looking horses were possible thanks to her forward professional manner and mental and physical fortitude. I’m looking forward to getting her back into work and seeing if she can take it to the next level.  At the time of writing Stan The Caddy by Rebel Raider out of Roscrea Rose (by Blevic) has won 3 from 11 starts and earnt more than $90,000 including almost $25,000 in Racing Rewards SA (SABOIS) bonuses. His last two wins which came in succession, were over middle distances. The dam Roscrea Rose won once from 10 tries and has produced the full brother El Desperado who is still racing having won four and earned more than $115,000. The mare has also left a colt by Americain. The second dam Sally Rose continues the staying blood lines being by Jeune, she won five races and left several winners. These include Rowdy Rocker (by Ssratoga Springs) winner of 10 with 21 minor placings and stakes of nearly $220,000; High Value (by Face Value); and Rowdy Richard (by Blevic) winner of more than $150,000. These three were all trained by Ken Sweeney. Bleriot is a filly by Divine Prophet from the Jet Spur mare Jetting To London. As mentioned, Bleriot is from the first crop of the Caulfield Guineas winner Divine Prophet who is by Choisir. Her race record stands at 3 starts for a win and 2 seconds and stakes of $45,000 which does not include the “Purchase Price Back” bonus. Her dam Jetting To London won four starts, two in Queensland and two in WA with Bleriot being her only named progeny to date. The second dam Lady London (by Brocco) was unplaced at two starts and has produced nothing of significance at stud. Going back to the third dam, the Bletchingly mare London Lights however we find three stakes winners – Lisson Grove (by Dehere) winner of the listed SAJC Dermody Stakes; the Sir Tristam mare Only A Lady winner of the Group 1 Flight stakes and dam of the listed winner Redwood Falls (by Woodman); and finally, Smoko (by Snitzel) a listed winner of 8 races and $300,000 in WA. Will’s two horses demonstrate the different challenges that racing throws up with Stan The Caddy requiring patience and Bleriot being precocious but running into tough opposition at her initial starts.

Our Owner of the Month award winner for November is Paul and Suzie Kristoris, part owners of Picargo and Li’l Kontra. Suzie wrote these notes for us. The 4 year old chestnut mare Li’L Kontra was sired by Krupt out of the mare L’il Cashy who also foaled other winning horses including Cashed and Embecee Lil, both of which Paul and I had a share of the ownership. Ownership and racing of Li’l Kontra historically continues Paul’s long and successful association with the Balfour family dating back to the days when Ryan’s father David Balfour was training. David originally urged Paul to buy into Cashed. Li’l Kontra commenced her so far impressive racing career as a 2 year old in the 2018/19 season at Morphettville, where between December and May, she notched up 3 wins from 9 starts without missing a place. Her excellent early form culminated in her achievement of ‘black type’ status winning the Group 3 National Stakes in Adelaide in May, ridden by Dwayne Dunn. Ryan set Li’l Kontra for her Melbourne debut during the Spring Carnival of 2019 where Jaimie Kah rode her in the Group 3 Blue Sapphire Stakes at Caulfield, against the best 3 year olds in the country. She placed a credible 2nd in excellent company, and later during the Carnival ran in her first Group 1 Race, the Coolmore at Flemington, where she placed a sound 4th. As a 4 year old Li’l Kontra, has so far had mixed results, with a first up win in November 2020, after a long 25 week spell. Thus far, after 23 starts and overall race record of 4 – 9 – 3, and a Group /Listed race record of 11 – 2 – 2 – 1 winning an impressive $520,000 + in prizemoney, we are looking forward to watching Li’l Kontra’s future runs, hoping for more success for this excellent mare. As for sprinter PICARGO, a 4 year old bay gelding sired by Oamaru Force out of Dam Bel Franc, Paul and I have only become owners since September 2019. Picargo provides us with plenty to cheer about demonstrating so far, a more than handy race record of 14 starts for 2 – 5 – 2. He has shown us to be an honest horse where he is always around the mark and is paying his way. We look forward to plenty more action from this horse in this and future preps as we move into the Autumn racing season There have been three horses called Picargo that have been trained by the family of Ryan Balfour – the first one trained by Ryan’s grandfather T.W. Neale was the winner of the 1967 Goodwood Handicap, the second trained by Ryan’s dad David was also successful and the stable now has the third iteration. This 4-year-old gelding is by Oamaru Force out of the Bel Esprit mare Bel Franc. He has to date raced 12 times for 2 wins, 4 seconds and 2 thirds and stakes of $75,950. Bel Franc was lightly raced with 1 win from 3 starts. Picargo is currently her most successful progeny, his full brother Ashtrain has won 4 from 12 in northern Victoria. The granddam Lady Franc (by Grovenor) was not successful as a race horse, her progeny include 7 time winner Thankgodforfranc (by God’s Own). Going back a further generation we find the Little Brown Jug mare Lady Bronte who left a three time stakes winner of two Group Ones in Western Red. Also trained by Ryan Balfour is Li’l Kontra by Krupt out of Li’l Cashy (by Keltrice), her prizemoney earnings exceed $500,000. She has always raced at a high level and has perhaps not always had the best of luck in her races. She has won a Group 3 race and a listed event so far in her career. Her dam L’il Cashy was a speed machine ending her career on the track with 9 wins for almost $190,000. Li’l Cashy has been a great brood mare with her progeny including the ever unlucky Cashed a full brother to Li’l Kontra winner of 9 races and over $450,000 and Embecee Lil (by Myboycharlie) winner of 5 races.  There are probably more winners to come as she has two Shamus Awards and a Toronado either lightly raced or yet to race. Li’l Kontra’s granddam Camicia (by Night Shift) was born in the UK, she won three races in Australia. She has also left Cashkalani (by Ashkalani) winner of 6 races, and dam of Jack Henry (by Good Journey) winner of 3 and I Am Kalani (by I Am Invincible) winner of $120,000. It seems likely that more success will be heading the way of both L’il Kontra and Picargo.

Our Owner of the Month award winner for October is Kathy Lindsay, part owner of Maid In Milan. Kathy told us this about her Maid: The story behind Maid in Milan (Mia) is a happy one. Scott Westover asked a group of ladies if they were interested in ownership of a tried mare he was considering purchasing. We’re from all over Australia and I personally hadn’t met or heard of any of them. As a lady’s horse Mia has pink colours with chevrons so that they align with Scotty’s stable styling. Mia had moved through 2-3 trainers before arriving in Alice Springs and she wasn’t much better there so he sent her to Kristi Evans, who found some old injuries to her neck amongst other things, she’d probably always had a headache. She’s had a great deal of pulse treatment and manipulation sometimes under sedation as her neck and hamstrings were painful.  She had so much care and attention from Kristi and her staff and Justin Potter and a few months later, first start back at Morphettville and we have a happy mare, she was excited and on her toes in the mounting yard, and she ran a wonderful race. She’s pulled up well and was bouncing around her paddock at Meadows like a 2yo! As for the lady’s ownership, we’ve become a tight knit and bonded group of Aussie women who are now great mates. COVID isolation doesn’t matter to us because we’ve only ever talked on the phone or via our Mia messenger group! My horses are usually with the Balfour stable but I am very impressed with Kristi’s stable and her staff. Maid In Milan started with Joe Pride at Warwick Farm winning her maiden at Bathurst before transferring to Mitchell Beer with whom she picked up a races at Corowa and Gundagai.  She then moved to Scott Westover at Alice Springs. As often happens she did not seem to appreciate the Northern Territory dirt. The transfer to Adelaide has so far yielded a city win and third from four starts. Her record sits at 22 starts for 4 wins, one second and 4 thirds and stakes of $83,000. Her new owners have already earned $26,000 from her 6 starts in the new ownership. She is by Master Of Design from Lady Dormello who is a General Nediym mare. Lady Dormello won one race and ran four seconds in 13 starts with a modest return of $16,000. Coincidently her first foal (also by Master Of Design) has made his way to Adelaide – he races as Masterati. He also started his career with Joe Pride before heading to Queensland with Stephen O’Dea and is now in Adelaide with Grant Young. Of his 6 wins, three have been with Grant where he has amassed $55,000. Half-brother Address Melbourne (by Puissance De Lune) shows promise having won 2 from 6 in Victoria. Maid In Milan’s granddam is Tycoon Milly (by Last Tycoon) she won three races in a short career and has produced Empress Milly (by Stratum) winner of 5 races and $176,000, Zebrinz (By Sebring) winner of 6 and almost $600,00 and Scoliaro (by Congrats) winner of $114,000 who has been exported to France as a broodmare. We wish Kathy and the rest of the ladies the best of luck with Maid In Milan.

Our Owner of the Month award winner for September is Wendy Daken breeder, and owner with husband Brian of Waikato Express. Wendy provided with this story: It seems just like yesterday that we go involved in racing. That is Brian and I, when actually it is 17 years ago now. How time flies when you’re chasing a dream. We have had a few country winners which has given us great joy. The delight is even greater when we have bred them all ourselves. Just watching them run in races was a delight. We would really get exited when we actually won, it didn’t matter what race, any race was wonderful. The same two mares were our breeders, as the years have gone by the next crop each year seem to get better and better. Then along came Waikato Express, how we got his name was funny, driving in New Zealand on the trek to Auckland from Thames, Brian and I were debating names, his favourite was Juicy, I didn’t like his favourite choice. We tossed a lot of names around, I said we have it, ‘Look Waikato Express way! Huge signs everywhere with that sign. Let’s take off the way and call her Waikato Express’. He didn’t like my choice, so we started asking everyone we knew and they all thought it was fabulous. So that became his name. We had a lovely trainer training him to start with and he didn’t think he’d make the grade so let him go. I thought we should give him one more chance with a new trainer, Luke O’Connor, he had just started, we had given him his first horse, Divine Weaver and now we would put Waikato Express in his hands. It wasn’t long and we had two country wins. Then he had a hind leg tendon injury. It was a toss-up as to keeping him or giving him a good home out of racing. We agist our horses at Finniss Lodge and love them and the care they take of all our horses. We put him out for a long spell with vet’s advice. We brought him back into training nearly a year later and gave him back to Luke. It took nearly four months, then joy again! we had a third with Eran Boyd on him and took deep breaths that he would stay fit without injury. We just made third, it was a delight to watch in that race. Then Luke placed him in a city race, we were excited and nervous. Our first run in the city race with Waikato Express, we decided to stick with Eran and what a race! She and Waikato Express didn’t let us down. The excitement was wonderful, you couldn’t explain our joy, we had been in Lockdown for two weeks and let out the day before the race. Neither of us were feeling joyous, we went and found a  TAB and put some money on the race, not expecting miracles and not knowing if he would stand up to the race. He is a beautiful horse, so good natured and wonderful to train, so Luke says. The rest is history, we have finally done it! We feel we have reached a milestone after 17 years. Our story is don’t give up when the going gets tough, the joy is well worth it. The surprise was that our phones never stopped ringing and texts kept coming in with the congratulations that came from people that didn’t even know we raced horses as well. It really was a joyous wonderful day. Never give up, you never know what’s around the next corner! Or the horse you just started training, how it will go. Waikato Express is by Rebel Raider from the Street Cry mare Forcryingoutloud. The 5-year-old gelding has now won 3 races with 2 seconds and a third from 18 starts earning almost $50,000. On breeding one would expect Waikato Express to be effective over longer distances than he has managed so far. The dam raced 20 times for three wins, including a metro win, she has only had one other to race, the Oratorio mare Beejaydee named I think after Wendy’s husband Brian. She raced six times for the one win and is not longer with us. The granddam Classic Kyles (by Danewin) won two from two on the Sunshine Coast and is the dam of Classic Heart (by Show A Heart) in turn dam of multiple winners Savage Young Blood, James Is Blonde and Hey Pal. We admire Wendy’s enthusiasm for racing and wish her and Brian well.

Our Owner of the Month award winner for August is Roslyn Day breeder, owner and trainer of Ace Of Clubs. Roslyn has recently moved her breeding operation Rosden Park from Wellington to Malinong where she currently stands the promising Fastnet Rock sire Dedline. Ace Of Clubs has enjoyed an outstanding third preparation, beginning the prep as a maiden with a best result a fourth and winnings of $750. This prep has been a different story with a third at Mount Gambier and then a maiden win at Bordertown. Several unplaced runs followed but then he really hit his straps with three wins and four seconds from his last seven starts. His record now stands at four wins, four seconds and a third from 16 starts and he has returned almost $100,000 in stakes earnings, of which $14000 is SABOIS bonuses. The 5 year old gelding is by Shinzig out of a Muhtathir mare She’s A Pleasure. Shinzig (by Danehill) was a winner of the Group One C.F. Orr stakes and has sired a stakes winner in Psychic Mick from relatively limited opportunities. The dam She’s A Pleasure was born in France. Her other Australian progeny are Varacalli Lad (by Murtajill) who like his half brother has needed time, he is currently a six year-old and has raced on only 5 occasions and Club Queen (by Dedline) who is yet to race. The granddam is US born Hayhaat (by Irish River) who left no progeny of note. Late in September Roslyn sold her interest in Ace OF Clubs to Nigel and Helen Atkin but she will continue to train him. We wish Roslyn continued success with both her breeding operation and her horses.
